The 1902 Grill Restaurant
Our restaurant reopened its doors following an extensive redesign and refurbishment on Friday 26th August 2022 and has received huge praise.
The 1902 Grill at the Dunmuir is one of Dunbar’s, East Lothian's leading award winning restaurants. It has established a fine reputation for the quality of the cuisine and service. It was recognized for it's culinary excellence and service in 2017 award and then in 2020 & 2021 now again in 2022 we were awarded a Trip Advisor Traveller's Choice award.
Dogs are also very welcome, we have water bowls available for them, please do let us know when booking as we allocate specific tables.
We do ask that you to call to make a reservation as we may not be able to take walk in tables.
We are delighted to open now on a Thursday evening so at the moment restaurant is closed only on a Wednesday. On Saturday and Sunday's we open from 1pm when we open all day until 8.30pm.
Our menu changes to reflect the seasons with an emphasis is on fresh local/Scottish produce and with as much as possible made on the premises. we work with a lot of local Scottish game and fish.
We are proud to support and be members of the Scotch Beef Club. Shaw's our butcher has just won a series of awards for the fine meats.
The 1902 Bar
Our warm cosy wee bar offers a great choice of local craft beers, the famous Belhaven best Bitter and Winton Brewery's draft, coupled with two great lagers and one cider on tap. With a great selection of bottle beers, Wines, Whisky and Malts and our of course our eclectic range of Gins. We are proud to have won a "Best Bar None" Gold award for the last 6 years.
Relax and watch the big screen or just chill out with friends. This is a great place to sit and unwind. Dogs are very welcome in the Bar with their owners. And we have treats and water bowls available as well.
